England v Holland 29/02

Football, Soccer - whatever you call it. It is the beautiful game.

half-time.

i think Cahill looks good and hopefully will prove to be a long term fixture in the side.

nice to see Richards starting the game, easily the best right-back we have and odd that Capello didn't rate him.

Johnson looks at home in the side and Sturridge also deserves a run in the team.

i don't rate Baines - too small.

Barry, not for me. Milner a much better option.

and Walcott a much better option than Young - more pace and more direct (i know who i'd rather face as a defender).

discuss!

full-time.

the dutch were high quality and easily deserved to win.

you have to put sides like the dutch under pressure and shake them up a bit (especially when you are technically inferior). Dave Bassett wouldn't have stood for that!

until England can play without fear (of mistakes) they'll never cut it with the top boys. we need to play to our strengths.

I always find these matches too tricky to have any reasonable opinion on them. Very difficult to correctly interpret. This one in particular with no manager in place.
