Betdaq data rate

This is not a problem, more an interest query.
Normally running on mobile broadband, so I run a system / data program to keep an eye on overall usage.
Have Betangel betfair and betdaq running.
not actively trading (waiting for next matches)and have 4 markets loaded in betfair and 2 in betdaq.
Data rates for system downloads shows 4 times the rate for betdaq than betfair.
Using 1 sec refresh for both.
Is this betdaq api or betangel settings?
