Hi,

I’m going to hire a VPS Service and I’d like to know what’s the easiest and cheapest way to install excel on VPS – Windows 2008 R2-. I’ve got excel installed on my pc, but I don’t know if I can transfer the program to the VPS. The VPS company can provide Excel for an extra £8.00+VAT per month, but I think it’s too expensive.

In case I have to purchase the software with a licensed copy, are all the versions compatible with Windows 2008 R2 or should I buy a special version?

Thanks for your help,
PeterLe

I bought mine via the MS Download centre ( i think I used the Office/Home/Student version), Its a while ago, but I think you get three keys too..

Thanks Peter,

I think Office/Home/Student version is the cheapest one.
