Problems connecting to remote desktop from ipad

Im trying to connect to the VPS via ipad2. As i try to connect im getting an error 0x300008 on the ipad. I have searched the web and not found anything that gives me an easy work around.
I was wondering has anybody else the same problem and if so how did they get around it.
Any help is much appreicated

Which RDP software are you using?

Im using Microsoft RD 8.1.6.
I could probably try a different software but it worked fine before.

Possibly the RDP port number was changed recently? Can anyone please confirm on this?

It should listen on TCP Port 3389 and is unlikely to change

Hi, I had a similar problem, I could connect via Mac but not on the iPad. After numerous phone calls etc. The VPS company had to re-build my VPS. not had a problem since. Regards
