Just saw on Twitter Mark Iverson (cricket trader) had a near £6,000 loss having been in a £700 green position prior to the outage. Gutting for him.

Lost over 3k myself.....My own fault as I carried on in the market after the first crash, turning £1500 green into £3300 red

Would be fuming if my loss was down too Betfair not cancelling bets during the first outage

The losses are bad but fortunately don't appear to be disproportionate. I've turned a £7 green into a £60 loss or a £15 green into a £33 loss before without mitigating circumstances, so given this wasn't under your control I hope you feel you got off quite lightly. You're obviously pretty good at controlling your liability vs the upside.

I'd much rather have a 50 pence green turn into a £10 red than a £1500 green turn to £3300 red.

I'm sympathetic don't get me wrong, but lets say it's better than turning a (usually) 50p green into a (omfg) £3k loss. I was just looking at risk/reward rather than the actual numbers.

Which wallets are you transferring between? Thought they got rid of the Australian wallet

I park money in other wallets to protect against anything unusual and bring them back when I want to use larger stakes, but it's ain't working.
