Surely it's only a matter of time before fans realise they potentially have the power to get a game abandoned.

It would be okay if they punish the offending side, but Betfair would likely void bets on an uncompleted game, especially the OU markets.

I believe if the market is complete then the bet stands. eg at 3-0 OU2.5 would be settled, OU3.5 would be void.
