£4,000 AINTREE VENDOR TRADING CHALLENGE
Traders try to make a profit but at the same time take risks. It's easy to sacrifice profit for risk, i.e. quit after one trade winning £2 and move on to the next race.spreadbetting wrote: ↑Fri Apr 13, 2018 3:04 pmNot sure why you assume it's easier for people to make a profit for a competition than day to day trading, Derek? I'd have thought most people were focussed on securing a profit when trading at all times.

Basically, you play a tournement differently to a cash game.Derek27 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 13, 2018 4:02 pmTraders try to make a profit but at the same time take risks. I had a power cut just before the 15:25 and by the time I'd got a laptop and phone running wasn't able to recover, although to be fair I may not have got into profit on the race as I had a poor position from betting on it too early.

Messed up two races yesterday (won 5 out of 7).
100% today, so I'll finish the day at 12.
