Here is the file I was using in those previous screenshots, it has the two changes I suggested last page about confining it to runners less than 40 and using the back price > than the stored value on the green up rule

If I applied this to the place market using a signal from the win market , in the place a back bet 'applies to selection' would I use row 1 befair order even though in the win market uses custom ranking order. Its been hitting when i use row 1 betfair order but is just betting on the favourite everytime, this could be that that horse has just been backed the most but im not sure

Signals can't pass information from one market to another, you need to use Stored Values for this

Regarding the previous post, i think I did have it roughly correct, I just wanted to make sure the whole market was being checked and then after the biggest steamer was detected in the win market that info was passed on to the place market and applied to the correct selection, please find the files attached

The Signal steamer in the win market file needs a 'Set/Modify stored value' rule applied to selection custom ranking 1 (1)
Then on the Stored value tab store a value on the Event with the selections ID

Your 'Back the Steamer rule' then needs to be applied to 'ANY' selection, with a stored value condition to test
the selections ID
is equal to
Another Stored Value
On the Event
Named (whatever you called it above)
