Who's side will he be on when they want the Falklands back?

Argentina has been spending vast sums of money procuring fighter jets and missile defence systems from the USA, France, Israel and Russia. Many military analysts believe they will have the capacity and hardware to retake the falklands within the next 3 years.
Makes you wonder, who is friend or foe.

You can't buy courage. I had a quick look they spent a measly 1.9 - 2.1 billion on their military in 2022 and haven't got a pot to piss in so not sure where their money is coming from for the next 3 years. The new leader sounds like a crack pot full of right wing promises. The Falklands is very well protected nowadays anyway.Archery1969 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 10, 2023 5:59 pmArgentina has been spending vast sums of money procuring fighter jets and missile defence systems from the USA, France, Israel and Russia. If they tried anything military wise they'd have lost all leave of their senses whether it be 3 years 5 years or 10 years time.

The UK military (boys and girls) want to engage with Russia. While being totally outnumbered, in a conventional war, they would win hands down.
Russian forces, are week, stupid and dumb.

Some military experts are predicting this could happen the latter end of this year. Hence calls for some sort of conscription based military force as our armed forces are too small in number. That will have allot of young ones crying for their dummies for sure.
It won't just be the young ones, it will be ages 18 to 65, with us the older ones on the frontline forming a shield.Archery1969 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 24, 2024 5:34 pmSome military experts are predicting this could happen the latter end of this year. Maybe it’s all a cunning plan:Derek27 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 24, 2024 6:11 pmIt won't just be the young ones, it will be ages 18 to 65, with us the older ones on the frontline forming a shield.Archery1969 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 24, 2024 5:34 pmSome military experts are predicting this could happen the latter end of this year. - Mrs ‘T’ won another election after the mini conflict with Argentina.
- Most young voters will probably vote labour, so, conscript them. Also, a rule change might mean they can’t vote.
- Cut the benefits bill by conscripting all those unemployed in the first instance.
If this idea does happen then I suspect the first level will be those aged 21 to 35.
But I won’t care one way or another as I am gone in 3 months.
I think it's mainly ex-service personnel who will get called up (I thought that was the case anyway if you're highly trained and recently left) but according to medical chiefs, many Brits would be far too fat to be much use in a war anyway.Archery1969 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 24, 2024 5:34 pmSome military experts are predicting this could happen the latter end of this year. The US is to station B61-12 Nuclear gravity bombs at RAF Lakenheath in Suffolk.
Given all the different news report over the past week I wonder if the powers that be know something the public doesn’t. It seems we could be a war with someone before the year ends.
