I think it's become obvious to many, that BF are a company in decline. They are switching their attention from the core product, and are financially propping themselves up with ludicrous charges to their loyal customer base.

That's a recipe for disaster, and it may be sooner than we'd imagine

However, I'm pleased to hear PeterLe has a big penis

ha ha! I wish!
I remember passing out of my apprenticeship many years ago..it was tradition that every apprentice had to place their cock on the edge of the table in the workshop, strike a pencil mark on the table to measure the length and write your name along side it.

When it was my turn I approached the table edge and looked down at the names in front of me from 50 years gone by and said "Bloody hell Ill easy beat them!) Until someone remarked "Pete youre on the wrong side of the table son!" :D

I got bored and started playing with the google search tools, found this interesting as it shows betfair and ladbrokes decreasing at about the same rate.

I missed this from the other day, another of the old guard has left the new kids to ruin Betfair:

Betfair Group plc (the "Company") announces that Joshua Hannah has retired as
a Non-Executive Director. Josh was first appointed as a director of The
Sporting Exchange Limited in 2002 upon the acquisition of Flutter.com of which
he was a founder. He became a Non-Executive of the Company when it was
incorporated in 2008 and was on the Board for the Betfair flotation in 2010.

I think a little exchange of tweets this afternoon kind of says it all:

I suggested they just Google his name ;)

If betdaq/ladbrokes were smart they'd look into some consultancy work from him!

Didn't last long, some strong support the last few days - have you been doing a Carl Ichan, Peter? ;)

The ~1,100 level seems to be a tough nut to crack. But it was a pretty impressive 2013 up over 50% on the year so not really surprised to see the price come off a bit. Though still a long way to go to get to those IPO levels. I don't see it repeating 2013's performance in 2014.

Price broke back through 1100p today with higher than average volume. Do you think Snapchat was the reason?

No I don't, that news was from a few days ago but interesting to see the strong volume today on the breakout but I am not convinced by the recovery in price, 1,125 will be the level to watch.

Back up to the recent highs. If it breaks through the level it is out to 3+ year highs.
