hi,
regarding in-running horse racing, how do you create a rule to check that the price has stayed the same or come in for 3 seconds?, ie, if the back price came in to 1.05 and as long as it stayed there or come in more for 3 seconds it would place the bet, but if it came in to 1.05 and bounced out again in 1 or 2 seconds it wouldnt place the bet, this would then be repeated for as many times as needed, hope this makes sense, thanks

You could use a history list to compare the prices now and 3 seconds ago, or you could set an SV with the IP time it hit 1.05, with another rule to fire a bet when the SV is set, IP time >= the SV time + 3 seconds and the price is still <=1.05.

I have to warn you though, you'll never make money by crudely backing 1.05 shorts. Most of the time they will hit 1.01 and you won't get a bet on and you'll only need one loser to wipe out 20 profitable trades!

There is an example here which uses signals and to test if you ve been in a loss for 10secs
That could easily be edited to test if the price with a fixed odds condition rather than the P/L condition it currently uses
