I check my credit file once per month, just to keep and eye on things like this.
Martin Lewis' Credit Club is a free way to do this. It updates once per month and they send me an email to remind me to check it. It uses data from Experian so mirrors info held there. https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/creditclub/

It becomes clear straight away when getting a file check, how detrimental this is as a full-time job for our credit rating
my lloyds account automatically opens at a certain point of the month with a prompt to let you know that your latest credit score is available. it can be checked from inside the banking app. occasionally click thro to see.. useful - agreed!jamesedwards wrote: ↑Wed Nov 15, 2023 3:22 pmI check my credit file once per month, just to keep and eye on things like this.

I've got no issues with my credit rating despite being a full-time trader for five years. I make sure I'm marked down as self-employed, and that I keep my 'income' updated to reflect the 'salary' that I pay myself from Betfair. I make my Betfair withdrawals look like a salary by keeping them always to the same value and on the same date every month so it matches the income listed on my file.LeTiss wrote: ↑Wed Nov 15, 2023 3:49 pmThat's very useful mate, thanks for postingjamesedwards wrote: ↑Wed Nov 15, 2023 3:22 pmI check my credit file once per month, just to keep and eye on things like this.
