We all need racing to put on a good show but the starter at Newbury clearly had other ideas. :?

Did anyone see that Muppet starter for the 3:00 race? The horses and jockeys had been ready for ages and it was 1m30s beyond post time. I'm not sure who ran fastest toward the tape - the starter or the horses. The buffoon  virtually fell up the steps of the rostrum to start the race....you would have thought it a Carry On film rather than a NH race.

I am sure I could hear him saying "Steady on old boy I was just having a quick snifter there!"
