I'm making far more on Betdaq that on Betfair.
Glad to hear that Peter
Maybe more will come over then.
I am glad I moved

Cheltenham 2011
I'm saving up for just one bet... a big punt on the Gold Cup. Jolly Green picked it last year with 'Imperial Commander'. I'm going to try to pick it this year with 'Midnight Chase'.
'Midnight Chase' is unexposed and fresh, and he loves Cheltenham- a real course specialist. Recall when he crashed through the last fence racing on this course, something which should immediately have killed the chances of any normal horse. And indeed his price In-Play immediately spiked to over $50 if I recall. He should have fallen at once, but he didn't. Not only did he not fall, he kept going! He showed almost super-equine will to win to come back from a virtual stand-still and still get back up to win.
You heard it here first. If he jumps without mistakes, 'Midnight Chase' will not be beaten at Cheltenham...he will go the front and none will get past him. He will win the Gold Cup.

Have collected a nice £275 so far as much as i dont like it. PEDDLERS CROSS Has got to be the NAP back to lay for today good luck all
I don't actually know how you manage to trade both at the same time! Thats impressive!! I can only do one at a time!!Euler wrote:A really interesting day for me today. First ever day on the exchanges that I have done more on Betdaq than Betfair! Quite remarkable.
It's not easy and I think I missed some opportunites, but I thought it was worth a go just to see what happened. I think it's because there is less clutter on Betdaq, it's much easier to get your orders filled. It was very frustrating at times waiting for orders to fill on Betfair.
You could argue that I would have earned more if I was just on Betfair alone but it was very interesting experiment. Worthy of more effort.

Stats from yesterday: -
Overall, at post time the markets yielded £23.8m in matched bet volume vs. £23.4m last year so little changed in those terms. One predominant factor was that the facvourites accounted for 52% of the market vs. 35% last year. This is despite there being more competitive markets this year.

I think this year the favourite really dominated the markets. Cue Card, Medermit, Quevega and Hurricane Fly were strongly supported and if you add Definity to that list it probably explains why they accounted for so much money.Euler wrote:Stats from yesterday: -

The markets look much more open today so it will be interesting to see how they compare to last year.

Punters are like sheep for the most part. If a horse is mentioned by an expert on TV as being a "good thing" and it's a favourite then they pile in.Human123 wrote:I noticed most of the favorites were steaming up to race start.
Is this a usual trend?
