Managed to actually do well at all meetings today, Betdaq is the way forward for large liquidity meetings for sure.

I tbh found Ascot a struggle today and the afternoon but I think that was more to do with me being a bit flustered after a busy morning and rushing to get sat down in time for the first race. I would have been better off skipping the first couple of races and sitting down for the first at Ascot and relaxing instead and spent some time getting my head straight.
I have now got into a good flow and found the markets pretty good, tonight has been much better than I thought it was going to be and beaten yesterday's total pretty easily with still 9 races to go so pretty happy with it in the end.
Will be interested to see Peter's stats later tonight.

Me too Spikey Lighter Volume leave Ascot to the big guns.jimrobo wrote:pretty much most of the mistakes in the book!
Traded too far out, too high stakes, got sold by the big lay, ended up following prices up and down the ladder!
I'm not actually too bothered as I really traded it horrendously! I Deserved to take some major pain on it!
Hi E what i find is when a big meeting is on the in between meetings are very Volitile, they give false price stabablity, i layed a horse at Hamilton to get a drift of 8 ticks all of a sudden it smashed down and smashed my Stop loss silly, i ended up with my 1% max loss of my bankEuler wrote:I think I will leave these inbetween races, I just got slammed again at Hamilton.

Was a great drift that - got the day off to a great start. Days like today is why I have two TV's running so you can switch when you get them interviewing a trainer and the like.

Well I smashed up the first races and then got the Ripon 14:45 wrong. I was ahead and pushed a few more orders through and ended with a small loss.
I cannot complain though as I laid Tomodachi 14:55 Warwick at 2.60 and it went to 3.50...which was nice!
