Another day another shambles on the race timings!

No races for 15mins then 2 off at once or just 5 min gaps - how the race planner keeps getting away with this and no comment by the press etc is beyond me.

Surely will be R4'd though under the new rules?

Correctly settled as a runner. The rules are that if the horse doesn't have a fair chance to race, ie jockey not on, or being held. Just because a horse doesn't start doesn't make it a non runner under the new rules.

Some stewards understood the new rules incorrectly early on but hopefully they have all been correctly educated now.

I hope so as it causes a lot of confusion. I've traded those before and had it wiped out.

Careful, Betfair didn't turning the 15:10 at the Curragh in running. They eventually suspended half way through the race.

I suspect they just missed it too busy watching Newmarket but will play carefully for a bit. Sure we will get an explanation by the end of tomorrow ;)
