Another day another shambles on the race timings!
No races for 15mins then 2 off at once or just 5 min gaps - how the race planner keeps getting away with this and no comment by the press etc is beyond me.

Correctly settled as a runner. The rules are that if the horse doesn't have a fair chance to race, ie jockey not on, or being held. Just because a horse doesn't start doesn't make it a non runner under the new rules.Euler wrote:Surely will be R4'd though under the new rules?
Some stewards understood the new rules incorrectly early on but hopefully they have all been correctly educated now.

I suspect they just missed it too busy watching Newmarket but will play carefully for a bit. Sure we will get an explanation by the end of tomorrow
