Some chunky amounts going through like this £6100 with 23:35 to go! I wonder if Betfair are trying to seed the markets to make them look good?

Against old metrics the first race of the day should turnover 750k-1m depending on the volatility.

Someone smashed Equity Card with £6700 when it reached 7.00 and the price just collapsed under the load. I hope the muppet who backed it with that amount didn't trade it out because the jockey jumped off as it exited the stalls!!

Just traded my first 2 races on Betdaq - 2 losses!

It's SO slow (refresh, placing/cancelling bets) and I really miss the trading profit column which I use to closes trades and green/red up.

More money on Betdaq today by the look of it, it's thrown me a bit as my previous stategy is floundering with the increase. Slightly less volume on Betfair it seems. In running markets seem really thin.

The in running are a bit thin. I only captured three of the last four :-
Approx Figures :-

R1 : 109K (7F)
R2: 90K (7F)
R3: -
R4: 129K (1m)

the interesting thing is whilst the liquidity is a bit low, i'm still pushing through the same number of bets..
TBH even a days figures wont give a full picture
regards
Peter

I'm collecting some pre-off matching data but I doubt it will be able to give me any insight until after it's been running for a week.

In the meantime I'll enjoy the sun. Hold on, there isn't any!

It will be interesting to see if Horse markets suffer more than other sports?

There's an interesting Finnish match at 4.30pm - FC Inter vs MyPa

At 3.15pm there's £140k matched, which is pretty high with still over an hour to kick-off

yesterday was an interesting soccer match. Brazil vs Paraguay. in 90min not a single attack from Paraguay. Still 0:0 even after extended time. After penalties Brazil did not score from 4 shots {3 missed the target and one saved}. 0:2 and Brazil out

as for now I'm watching o movie called 127Hours.

I watched it yesterday. Saw it on a plane to the US and my wife bought if for me recently on Blu Ray. The kids watched it until the bit where he cut his arm off when they vacated the room.

Betdaq has undergone quite a mercurial change from last week it would seem.
