this definitely is something to listen to (shaun). discovered Acantha Lang quite by accident. 2 standout acoustic covers (imho):

Probably good thing a listen to thing, I do music production as a hobby so I'd be forcing my trance, hard house & techno down your throats.
Think the BPM might induce the odd stroke or heart attack.

Thx Jim. That'll be something I save for winding down. I don't follow many links but I trust yours not to fup my recommendations list. :) i don't think there's been a better time for new music, and it's almost a full-time job keeping up, in so many genres.

But its all about time and place... In the polar opposite corner, when I read that I was just listening to Cyprus Hill featuring on a new tribute to NWA's 1988 track F*ck Tha Police. Yep 35 years ago, 23 yo, where did it go! Everything and nothing had changed.

New ver.

Woman had parasitic worm removed from her brain. It was still wriggling about and I've just eaten a sandwich!

Just as well I didn't have spaghetti.

A reminder to wash produce before eating it!

Just flicking through the TV waiting for the rugby to start and came across Mortimer & Whitehouse Gone Fishing. I don't even like fishing but it's an absolute gem, just the 2 of them chewing the fat about life and having a bit of craic.

It's alright the first few times but they're on season 6 now and it's stretching the format to breaking point. The real star is Ted :)

Isn't the whole point of the series two guys contemplating life thruogh the prism of a fishing escapade? That's eternal with no breaking point other than our patience or their relationship. Re: Ted never work with animals or children unless you are prepared to be upstaged. :-)

Watched The Detectives on BBC2 for past 3 nights. Follows a Greater Manchester Police bring down an Asian organised crime gang in Rochdale.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episodes/ ... detectives

Can't really describe it as good watch more an insight in to how these people operate and exploit children and vulnerable adults with drugs and how the police stop at nothing to bring them down including threats to them and their family.
