I reckon Harry may not take the job if offered as he and every one else knows it is a "poisoned chalice" and i think he is just too canny against the lure of enduring glory if it were all to go well, there are good reasons why, Fergie, Wenger et al Do not take national jobs; are yes its Steve Mclaren again!!!! god how depressing
Quite possibly.
He must think deep down 'England have had some world class managers in the past, who have failed miserably. What can I bring to table that they didn't? Do I really want to put 100% into this job, and be rewarded only with failure, scorn and ridicule? Or do I stay with Tottenham, who are doing really well under my leadership?'.
