Betfair API access blocked for danish users

No that is not good news. I used to live in Germany where I traded and I heard the same has happened there.
From Betfair:
When asked if this can be sent with the software this is the response given:We plan to block any Danish user who does not submit the NemID with a login request
So currently, Betfair do not support users in Denmark who wish to use 3rd party software. Bet Angel is working with Betfair to expedite a resolution for our Danish customers.The NemID isn't currently included as a field in the API. If included, the NemID would be an additional field alongside username and password. We are hoping to include this as part of the new API's Authentication service.

Hi, any news about this, as i can see here:

that they are starting to roll out the new API?
Also, I still find it weird, that it should not be possible to run Betangel in non-API mode, but I am not a tech-geek:-)
