Well if you listened to Barry Orr from Betfair at ATR then it is clear these muppets are putting all of their eggs into the Sportsbook basket.

At Thurles in the 12:20 the favourite hardly consented to race and was tailed off. Betfair are now jumping on the bookmaker bandwagon as Barry Orr announced live on ATR that all Sportsbook clients would have their money returned!

ATR quickly reminded viewers it was NOT Exchange players.......we are clearly seen as lepers!

The exchange is clearly not their priority so is it breathing its last breaths! Bring out your dead!!

The Muppets of Hammersmith. What a show.

Sadly, it's inevitable. The root cause is they can't meet the dividend pressure. As it is, premium charge thieving already makes up half their dividend payments - my estimate. The only way forward for the Muppets is rip off mug punters. Enter Sportsbook.

Part of me is happy. As the betfair demise gathers pace it will inspire someone somewhere to reincarnate a proper P2P exchange. It will be their honour to properly kill off bookmaking - betfair forfeited their place in history.
