I don't ever remember seeing a post about size of money in the markets.
I realise money can't change the outcome of an event and one glove doesnt fit all, but I just thought I'd ask the question. How important is the size of your money in the markets?
I know everyone does everything different but just curious as to thoughts.
how big of an edge is money?

in some situations it can be a help (giving the market a nudge as Euler once described it) but at other times it can be a curse.
i only trade with small stakes in racing markets now but used to trade with much more - occasionally i traded with stakes that i wasn't comfortable with and was more likely to make poor decisions in those situations. 'very important to be comfortable with your stake size imho.

it's just a sideline for me now (but i still enjoy watching/trading the racing which i do in the afternoons when not busy). i went from making good money pre mid-2012 to struggling to make a bean quite quickly for some of the reasons discussed here... viewtopic.php?f=5&t=8837steven1976 wrote:Why do you use small stakes on pre horse now frank out of interest?
