On a similar note, I heard about a guy the other day who died intestate in 1798 with a huge estate, after disputes about who should get what, the case was eventually wound up in 1915. After 117yrs the lawyers had consumed every penny and there was nothing to dispute anymore.
Just been looking at Bezos net worth, even if its still around what it was in July last year AND he then loses half of it he'll only be back to where he was a little under 2years ago!

Amazon is an interesting proposition as it's effectively a category killer in old retail terms. But in modern terms, it may be a channel killer.
I'm surprised that they haven't been picked up for predatory pricing, but that's a difficult thing to prove. But that's more or less what Amazon has done. Difficult to compete against.

I like their latest moves into healthcare. If I were the owner of a pharmacy I would be looking to sell up and get out before they get Amazon'd.
Trying to compete with them on distribution of medications will be neigh on impossible.
If you don't already look at them, Mercadolibre are another excellent Amazon style company, potentially still small enough for Amazon to buy them out.
