I've always thought the very concept was flawed. It was advertised as allowing "pro" punters with restricted accounts to bet with members, who in turn can place the money and more with the bookies. But surely anyone following a successful tipster will get restricted himself?
The "pros" can also ask for odds that are no longer on offer, but on the other side of the coin, if the price drifts, the "pro" can't immediately cancel the bet like on Betfair. I think the layer had 15 minutes to watch the price rise before deciding to take the original offer!
Its not 15 mins anymore (as a matter of fact the timer is completely gone) and now when they released a new version of their platform not so long ago last year as a pro you can cancel your bet anytime you want really.
The platform is a very good option (especially if you are just a punter) if you want to bet on something when betfair markets are not formed (say in the morning) + you can win as often as you want and you wont be restricted. Yea ok you can do the same on the exchange but im not sure if you wanted to pay 40% or 60% on your winning bets (PC charges) when you dont have to do that on Betconnect. THey also offer their api if not mistaken...
Ive used Betconnect almost from their very start and seen countless opportunities.
