Don’t know if there’s much interest but thought it required it’s own thread…
Some really close Senate races that could decide if Biden runs again in 2024
Also read a really interesting take the other day, FL will be first to show the results and the EV shows that it could be a disaster for Dems which could then (wrongly) reflect on the other races
US midterms 2022
The market would suggest the Reps are going to win big. They are still going on about the 2020 election being 'stolen' from them. I think the US is going to tear itself apart. I hear a lot of their politicians saying things like only accepting election results if they are 'fair', in other words, 'only if we win'
It seems to also be rallying the Dem base too, EV resembles more a Presidential year than a Midterm one.Archangel wrote: ↑Fri Nov 04, 2022 11:02 amThe market would suggest the Reps are going to win big. I agree, just look in AZ where 'oathkeepers' are watching ballot drop boxes 24/7 with firearms, what kind of democracy is that!

If the republicans win both houses they goint to quash all enquiries into DT and stop funding Ukraine. That means it will become Europes problem.
NV is well and truly back in play for Dems, Jon Ralston tips a Dem senate and GOP governor's win - this is the one that could lead to a Dem senate majority

The US is likely going to elect around 300 people to Congress that dont believe in democracy , who dont believe that the person who gets the most votes wins. Thats a scary prospect particulary in relation to the 2024 Pres election

Don't know what the fuck the governors are but I don't think it's got anything to do with the house and senate race.

The Senate is too close to call but the House will go Republican. Either way Biden is fcuked for the next 2 years.
“Trump is livid” and “screaming at everyone,” after last night’s disappointing midterm results for GOP, according to a Trump adviser. The adviser went on to slam the former president’s handpicked contenders: “they were all bad candidates.” “Candidates matter,” the adviser said.
