So I've been experiencing this for a couple of weeks or so, I was using the cell phone always on battery saving mode and I thought that was the issue but using normal mode didn't change things.
The exchange is all twitchy, like using a very old computer, typing amounts I'd see them on the screen seconds after, to the point of making it unusable. Super slow to switch between markets, displaying bets, the seconds bar freezes when placing a live bet, I know then order goes through regardless but just to give you the full picture.
Switching to Samsung browser worked for a while but now I have the exact same isssues.
I just tried it on Brave and for now it is working just fine but I'd like to now if anybody else is experiencing this.
The problem is only on the exchange, the sportsbook is fine and responsive.
I have a Galaxy A52s 5G.
Betfair slow on Chrome app

I've found the app a bit 'stuttery' lately. I use a Samsung Galaxy note 9. In the last couple of weeks the app has not run as smoothly as ususal.motorhead wrote: ↑Sat Jul 29, 2023 1:53 pmSo I've been experiencing this for a couple of weeks or so, I was using the cell phone always on battery saving mode and I thought that was the issue but using normal mode didn't change things.

One question as it's incredidibly rare to find another app user, do you find that the pictures on the app keep pausing? I've googled to see if anyone else has the problem but to no avail. I've been having problems with the pictures on the app since November last year. They only play smoothly about 5% of the time since then. I have updated the app whenever the updates come around.

The video is always smooth here on Wi-Fi and 4g. Galaxy S20. I probably watch a race start every couple of days though so not constant use.
Seems like it's a problem unique to my phone (4g EE).ShaunWhite wrote: ↑Sat Jul 29, 2023 6:20 pmThe video is always smooth here on Wi-Fi and 4g. Galaxy S20. I probably watch a race start every couple of days though so not constant use.
Has the bf help desk infiltrated our forum
ehm I thought it was pretty clear from the title I was using Chrome, then tried the Samsung browser then Brave.
Never used the app, but interesting to hear it has been twitchy too.
As for the video I never got why it often does not work on the Samsung browser, for horse races it doesn't even show the video option.
Yes you're quite right in that you're going direct through a browser rather than the app. I just thought it was a co-incidence. For what it's worth I sometimes watch racing using the William Hill app on my phone and no problem there it plays perfectly smoothly. As I assume the problem in my case seems to be unique to me.motorhead wrote: ↑Sun Jul 30, 2023 12:55 pmehm I thought it was pretty clear from the title I was using Chrome, then tried the Samsung browser then Brave.

It would be interesting however for you to download and try the app to see if it's any better.
Yes that's what I've been experiencing. I thought there was a problem with my particular device but I notice I only seem to have the issue when I use the Betfair app.
I got tired of paying Adblock and Chrome leaking memory.
Installed Brave browser - I dont use it for much apart from general browsing, but much happier with it, than Chrome.

Pay for Adblock? I use it and as far as I can remember it's free. Firefox is my goto browser.
Adblock is free - but there is a donation pop-up, and I sorta feel guilty, so give them something.
