US Masters 2018
After 3 rounds :
Reed -14 Betfair price 2.3 ..Not won for 3 yrs, came 2nd at Valapar (shot 68 final round .. previous 71/69/68) .. Was v windy.
Mcilroy -11 Betfair price 3.0 .. Never won Masters, but got all rest of majors in the locker.
Fowler -9 Betfair price 10.0 .. serial disapointer on Sunday
Rahm -8 Betfair price 17 .. shot fantastic golf Saturday (would give him more chance than Fowler, and will try find a final round match bet)

Hi Megarain,
Hope you sided a bit with Chennai yesterday when they were under the cosh..... I did but I gave it back far too cheaply....!!
Agree with Rahm vs Fowler. Although a Fowler win would be a great story!! Rahm has much less baggage weighing him down compared to the others. But 75 first round probably preculdes him from winning it and would give him a 67 ish final day maybe....I like his 68 second round..... I am assuming either Reed gets caught or he comes back to the field. If he comes back and Rory treads water it brings the others into play if on a charge. Interesting how the weather blew through yesterday and made the greens benign. Assumed wrongly that scoring would have been difficult Sat as assumed lots of wind and rain. Will be interesting to see how much target golf can be played today. Bubbling up nicely.

IMO, I sense Fowler (maiden) to put together a run. He's in a different place mentally this year and it could provide a springboard to win some big tournaments over the next few years.megarain wrote: ↑Sun Apr 08, 2018 9:26 amAfter 3 rounds :

Reed's weird swing helicopter thing is interesting.Wondering if the change in his swing is consistent enough to see him through under final day pressure.I am also interested to see if he has enough moxy (arse ) to fend off a hungry and previous major winner like McIlroy-especially as his partner on day 4 .Great tournament
Rahm wildcard for sure
Finding it hard to pull for Reed .. but, hes showed some nerve so far.
Speith not out of it.

Just stunning golf.
No cellphones allowed on crse .. but radio or a relatively decent feed, would be worth plenty.
Hope anyone but Reed, just becos ..

For the record, the DOB strategy explained in the opening post ended with a -4pt loss.
