General Election 2019 (UK)
This was a really bad form of it. I don't think people really object to helping those less fortunate. But this extreme looney left stuff is off the radar even for a lot of Labour supporters. I mean this is 2020 not 1820.

Agreed. Being on the right doesn't mean not caring for your fellow man. I do. Socialism simply doesn't work (for anyone but those that pull the strings).
What amazes me is the prediction of 13 Lib. They were equal with Labour, and then Swinson chose to differentiate the Libs by going Revoke. But still are predicted to maintain their mp's.
In any case, finally it would seem we have some democratic clarity.
Whether its rght or wrong will emerge over the next few years.
I don't like the apparent result.
But democracy is more clever than me and democracy is the best system I've seen during my life.
Think of the alternatives.
Hussien, Gadafi, Assad.
Putin.
Don't even know the names of the Chinese leaders.
Whats clear is this only the beginning.
Massive change in our relationship with the world.
Could be crap.
But, come on, make it great!!

Most people were. It's gone on far too long and all the parties voted to push their own political agenda rather than trying to reach a consensus. People were getting really pissed at that.spreadbetting wrote: ↑Thu Dec 12, 2019 11:53 pmThink we all underestimated the fact people are sick of brexit hanging over them.
